In general, our healthcare works great. Your fear mongering stats aside, people needing urgent assessment get it, while some procedures that can wait take a bit more time. But I have peace of mind that a health issue won't bankrupt me, like my cousin in the US who lost her home

Provinces are in charge of health care within their own territory You forgot to mention that they cover EVERYONE and do do at a cost of $4800 per capita. US cost per capita is $10,200 Universal health care is simply more effecient, achieving same outcomes for half the cost
