My niece was flown to America for cancer care, because the UK's NHS doesn't have proton therapy. I received first rate mental health care when living in Australia. Now? All my healthcare is a joke. Mental health care is even worse. Socialised healthcare fails everyone.

Great video. Totally validates what I know about Canadian health care. Except for the fact that well connected people can get what they need, when they need it. Like it would be here in the US. Bernie and AOC would get proper care at the proper time.

We have a former Prime Minister who flew his son to the US for surgery.

We put beds in the hallways because we have a shortage of rooms. Our doctors work 12-18 hrs a day most of the time. And even with super high taxes, it’s under funded.

And long wait times for procedures you can get the same day in the US.

It's really unfair to paint the whole system from one person's experience. I've had great care (knee surgery, pregnancy, husband's ankle surgery etc) no real complaints.
