In all fairness, we outsource a LOT of our "recycling" to countries who take the $$ and then don't process the plastics properly. Instead of relying on "recyclable" plastics, we should resume using more durable packaging like glass, or more biodegradable like paper/cardboard.

Interesting note, our local recyclers don't even take glass, only plastic or metal. And I don't believe in man-caused climate change, but I DO think we need to reduce/reuse, and keep our air & water clean.
