When I was hired by Greenpeace, USA (the door-to-door canvassing wing) in 1985 it was rife with Communists. We even had a "social day" at a park where a Communist Party recruiter was the special guest ... but he looked remarkably CIA.

I’m a conservative and Prager fan but I think that implementation of Golden Rice would be extremely negative in the long term—encouraging dependency and nutritional ignorance. And potentially negatively affecting more innocents than it’s absence currently takes the lives of.

Along the same line, why don’t we let Africans use DDT the way we did to get rid of mosquitos carrying deadly viruses? We doused children here with it & we are fine & we still have plenty of birds. Rachel Carson reminds me of Margaret Sanger (secret racist).

No one stops Africans from using DDT if they wish to. DDT has never been banned from fighting disease, like malaria, in any Africa nation. Several African nations use DDT today.
