Science is pretty clear on this: the fetus/baby has unique & separate DNA from the mother therefore it is not a part of her body. Just because it cannot (yet) live (for very long) outside the womb doesn’t change its status.

A newborn baby - which everyone agrees is NOT a part of the mother - can live outside the womb, but not for long without assistance from parents: It will starve. A fetus outside the womb dies faster, but both will die without assistance. Does dying faster make it not a baby?
