Iranian Empires such as the Achaemenid Empire and the Parthian Empire had religious tolerance. So did Empires across India. (Where do you suppose Jews, Syrian Christians, Zoroastrians, Jains, Buddhists and Muslims lived in harmony with Hindus for centuries?)

India's Kerala province alone has had people of all religious backgrounds live in harmony for centuries. They were integral members of society and their faith was respected. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_Kerala …

We haven't had tolerance of Christianity since Obama. Just ask
@TimTebow and the fellows from Duck Dynasty. State of California also came very close to banning the Bible, but backed down at the last minute. Christianity is basically illegal in Ontario, though, so we're at risk.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I can't agree, Polish- Lithuanian Commonwealth (1569-1795) invented, declared, and practiced religious tolerance first (On the legislative level). That's why many people from that area fled to America and got involved with independence movement (Puławski, Kościuszko).
