"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants." ~ Thomas Jefferson, Commonplace Book (1774-1776)

From what I can tell, these kids are not from Texas. Come Will, you can, and have done better than this.

A firearm setting on a table will never harm anyone. A firearm in the hand will never hurt anyone, keep your booger hook off the trigger forever and it will never hurt a soul. Responsible firearm owners teaching responsible firearms handling is essential.

Will should have gone to the Quad and talked to a few CT’s about this. The answers would have been very different. My guess is that the people he talked to are not a valid representation of Aggieland. T&G

Just because you go to a University in Texas doesn't mean you are any less of a college student than any other big university. Kids don't know jack about a lot of stuff in the real world.... but they do have opinions

My late Father was a gunsmith. He set up all his life at gun shows in IL. I grew up with guns. He taught me basic safety and defense. We killed snakes in the country. Lol.

I do believe in the 2nd amendment but there has to be a more rigorous system to be able to acquire guns. They shouldn’t be sold in Walmart or department stores. People should have their licenses, permits, background checks, and even psych evaluations before being able to have one

That’s how it is done in PR and right we have other issues but school shootings isn’t one of them. Police personal go and interview people before they can acquire a gun at the person’s house. It’s not that easy and I believe it should be that way.
