Not sure 100% on the answer, but I know that there is a correlation between violent crimes and single parent households.

Indeed. The ability to shoot and kill a large number of random innocent people has been WIDELY available in America for a long time. The desire, and drive, to do so, without fear is relatively new. That's a cultural issue that CANNOT be solved by disarming folks by force of govt.

The #1 problem few will acknowledge: The absence of God. He hasnt left, we've just tried very hard to remove Him. Everyone has a God-shaped hole within us, placed there by our Creator. When you reject Him, there's a mighty big void to fill. Its left us with empty, hurting souls.

In it’s flawed “wisdom” the US took prayer out of the schools in 1967, and God out of the government shortly thereafter. See a correlation? We must revive the Godly spiritual aspect of our society, or it will collapse from within. US God-based laws, without God, cannot work.
