Ummm if they got rid of it only a few states votes would matter and one of those is California and that alone is too scary of a thought that California would control a majority of the votes

SO we should just not have voting then? I mean that is the logical conclusion of your argument. The people can vote for tyranny so no more voting. Also the EC is based on the popular vote, it is just depending on the state.

OR, we keep the Electorial College in place and let all the people decide who becomes president instead of letting the Democrats cheat like they tend to always do.
