In a fair economy, people would be compensated proportionally to productivity. And everyone's income *growth* would be approximately equal, even if some are richer than others initially. :pic.twitter.com/I9QxlHXmoP

In a fair economy everyone has equal opportunity. We have that now in the US. Discussion over.

Lee E. Ohanian must be n the higher earners category.
Seems like we're not getting the entire picture from this.
I could be wrong.
I'm a low earner, I do pay taxes My house & my car is paid for. I live simply & I have no credit cards. Love debt free living except for taxes

Everyone pays income tax, the bottom 47% get most or all of it back in a refund after they file. Some even get back more than they paid due to tax credits. That's how it works out that some aren't really paying any income tax.

Conservatives need to stop protecting billionaires, they are the ones funding the progressives attacks 24/7.

what's UNFAIR for rich folks to pay 3-4% of their wealth ... when middle class have been paying MORE THAN THAT for generations ... it's called PROPERTY TAX ... that is MOSTLY their entire wealth ... 4-6% on GROSS value ... not net worth ... so it's NONSENSE to say it's unfair
-
Because they ALREADY PAID taxes on THEIR income & investments & the 47% d/n pay ANY Net taxes including property taxes they get to DEDUCT & get REFUNDS because of the very few “rich” top 10% paying 71% of ALL taxes. What would be fair is ALL pay SAME flat tax with 0 deductions
