Trying to explain away isn’t debunking. If it was founded only in freedom and not slavery, there wouldn’t have been slavery. It was founded on some good ideas, and some ideas to preserve slavery

What's weird to me is that people act as though slavery was only in the United States and no where else. They seem to ignore that Africans had slaves, Indians had slaves, et cetera.

I suppose when talking about American History, people mostly focused on America. I’ve literally never heeed anyone say only the US had slavery. Also, not very country had to have a war because one part of the country would rather have 100,000’s of deaths than five up owning ppl

Prager is both trying to woo black voters from the Democratic Party, while systematically downplaying racism—both current and historical. Good f^cking luck with *that*, Dennis!pic.twitter.com/KcxvZ14vuZ
