I don't like this whole approach of pointing fingers like "which team has historically had the most racists in actuality?!?!" It feels like a dirty identity politics-grade tactic and I'm not a fan. Let's focus on the arguments of today instead and dismantling the bad ones.

Anyone who follows history at all knows that Lincoln was a Republican. The sad part is how far that party, the GOP, has wandered from its ideals since his time . It can no longer honestly claim to follow his ideals. The Democrats are now way more truly caring humanitarians.
