I agree! What amount would they give someone who has never felt the pain of slavery, Jim Crow? I have been free my entire life, and the "check" they would be able to afford, can only amount to 3-4 figures; even that would break the bank with nearly 40 million blacks in the US.

How would that work out for the people that are mixed? My brother is mixed. He is dark but identifies as both. I'm sure by the government paying, it means our taxes. So his taxes get raised just to give him back the money?
