You are right that obsession with solar/wind is wrong. Won’t work. But... You are wrong about why fossil duel use grew and bills rose. It’s because after Fukushima in Japan, Germany stupidly decided to decommission nuclear power. Big reason it’s dependent on Russia natgas.
