Well,there’s the problem of nuclear waste. 3 mile Island is shutting down as we speak. The waste will go into a tomb so it can decay for the next 25k or so years. A 25k year maintenance commitment for 40 years of energy is a losing deal. There’s nothing clean about nuclear waste.

Except that all waste ever created fits on a football field and that the next gen reactors will run off that “waste”. The US is already 20% nuclear energy.

A wind tower would have to run 30+ years with no maintenance to cover the carbon footprint it takes to make all the components in making it and installation. Worlds over in 15 years...

Wind turbines have diesel motors in them that run when there isn't enough wind. Not clean at all.
