Don't be too afraid of this. Yes, it is ballooning rapidly, however, we can absorb quite abit more debt before we start suffocating. Keep in mind that advancing tech will drive down the cost of doing business, even government, so we just need to push that avenue.

Sorry bub. SS can be saved by stop allowing the government to be the fiduciary of the funds paid in. All of those funds should be invested privately where they can earn market rates of return. And government then will not be able to pretend that FICA funds are theirs to waste.

News for you. The federal government has no constitutional role in Education. Period. So if it can no long bully school districts and we return to local educational self-reliance that would be one silver lining that would be welcome.
