I am a bit confused, should they teach them to be proud of, say, the Iraq War?.

No... but teach it all. Good and bad. Where we screwed up and where we were awesome.

You’re wrong on that. We’re taught that our country has made many mistakes among as well as great accomplishments. Quite a few mistakes are still being made today. The only way to fix them is to acknowledge them.

It’s not that America is the absolute worst, otherwise we’d all be emigrating. It’s that America is not yet the best it can possibly be, and we would like to improve it. Liberals aren’t proud of what the USA is, they’re proud of its potential to be something far better.

Yep. Starting in Kinder public school curriculum in California has kids studying and reading content that America is bad.

Perhaps the Democrats are sharing exactly what it will be like for everyone to live under their leadership? No law no order just anger, hatred, death.

Too true. Today's students are systematically indoctrinated to believe that the greatest country on Earth is nothing but an imperialist, oppressive, bigoted place and should be radically changed.
