The left's effort to create a utopianly equal society, always end up creating more inequality. The progressive tax , the LGBTQ movement and the diversity movement to name a few.

This video makes a lot of sense, however, there is one thing left unexplained. One important presumption in the video is that after Harry is rich, he wouldn't hinder Tom's ability of making money. I mean, larger power always creates obstacles to oppress the weak/poor. (1/2)

It maybe not obvious in the U.S. or Europe, but it happens lots in other countries. How can you solve this problem BEFORE a well-rounded legal system is established? Otherwise I don't think power/rich one will concede at all for the poor. (2/2)

Video makes tons of sense. Why should people making more money contribute more than those making less. The federal government should take the total federal bill and divide it up in equal parts, whether you make $1 or $1,000,000.

It is good illustration of the argument but live is more complex. What if Harries house is bigger and more expensive and have more staff to protect than Tom's and Harry is to benefit more from increased security than other brothers? Tax property and consumption, not income.
-
Harry will just pay for more staff. Why tax consumption, that's like taxing success. Same with property, taxing property is the same as taxing success. Why should you pay more taxes because you are able to afford a bigger house?
