The deadliest terrorist attack on American soil was called the Civil War, where extremist ideologies nearly imploded the nation, divided it further and to this day many Americans suffer the consequence of a country divided by greed, pride, prejudice and hate.

In the same breath, let us not forget the senseless loss of life of thousands who perished at the hands of terrorists. We all remember where we were that day. A world apart, a world connected, hurting and hoping.
