I think it depends on your career choice. I prefer my physician to have a degree, my plumber, not so much.

College in the US is an elite scam to create more of the permanent ruling class elite - drawn from their children. The cost is deliberate. And oh! they also take the kids of the Chinese and Indian elite who can pay and join America's techno liberal permanent ruling class.

It can be. But far too often, it isn't. How'd you like to have a Communications degree that cost over 150,000, and be unable to get a job that pays over 28,000 per year. I'd feel ripped off, too.

The question is never is college worth it. The question is always is your major worth it and are you personally ready to be serious about it. Don't go for the college experience. College isn't there to entertain you.

Yes. You will be always look better with a college degree. High school graduate sounds really immature, job wise, doesn't it? Besides, which colleges are these? And is this tuition alone? Go to 2 years ago of community college first?
