I don’t agree with giving people moral control over who lives and who dies. I don’t feel that’s a responsibility any person should be trusted with. I’m not a religious man, but I’d think any god-fearing individual would agree only their god should have that level of judgement.

Seeing as Prager is very big on Christian values in politics, I imagine he would at least understand that viewpoint. Of course, Christianity was built on blood and war, so maybe not.

Disagree. It's not an issue of deserved penalty. They deserve to die! Too many mistakes are made. not moral to put people to death decided by imperfect juries/ judges who never have to actually take that life. They don't flip the switch. Justice can never b fulfilled w/o Mercy.

I don't exactly oppose the death penalty but I think that a system that is open to provide the ultimate punishment, it has to be as flawless and just as possible. We are far from having a system like that.
