Capital punishment is murder in the (small number of) cases in which the person killed is innocent, which is also the reason capital punishment is immoral.

Capital punishment is murder. Murder is wrong in all ways and always. To suggest otherwise is immoral, unethical, and dangerous.

I'm for the death penalty. I am against innocent people on death row.

I still say that I am opposed to the STATE's use of capital punishment, UNLESS it brings back public execution! Then mistakes cannot be so easily swept under the rug by ignoring them, waiting them out or plain stonewalling! I believe in the personally executed death penalty. ...

....if someone attacks you or anyone else in your presence, you have a duty to protect yourself&them, with deadly force if necessary! Then it won't be some nameless bureaucrat that is unaccountable if a mistake is made! The State shouldn't be in the buisness of killing own citizens!
