First, second, and third place? Yes. Even an honorable mention for fourth place? Why not? But everyone gets something just for participating? That’s not real life. It sets up their expectations for failure. A hundred people apply for a job—only one gets it, no second prizes.

Ever considered adding subtitles to your vids? I'm outside without headphones and really struggling with the wind and the chattering of the crowd. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Absolutely not! Great video - spot on! This is why we're experiencing the widespread delusion of entitlement.

Kids shouldn’t be playing sports they should be learning, so they don’t end up like prager people!

No. I got a little engraved pice of metal that said, “participant.” And that was it. If everyone gets the same trophy there is no reason to achieve better.

It’s a waste of money. It serves the same purpose as a jersey or team photo. The clever kids will know it’s bs and not a real trophy. The not so clever will never learn to push towards achievement.
