Rockefeller employed a volunteer army to shoot and kill union members who went on strike. He donated money after there was nothing left to spend it on. Also, he probably donated it on the off chance there is a hell and he was trying to buy a ticket out.

Isn't this the same John D. Rockefeller that created a monopoly w/ his 'Standard Oil' and him or his son went on to help out with the U.N. after the League of Nations failed? Idk if I'm buying this. I suspect he used his money cleverly to create a "benevolent aristocrat" cover.
