They don't understand that "socialism" is a nicer word for Communism/Cultural Marxism and a totalitarian state. Do they really want a Soviet-style country? Get "approval" for everything and get used to long line-ups?

We were not a socialist country, just with an excessive (understatement) government expending. Still, the video is very well made by one of the few brazilian journalists with any credibility. It amazes me how you americans think about socialism as an option.

Sure thing, but our previous leaders and a good part of congressmen were left-leaning, if not outright socialists. Given the chance, who knows how long until we became a socialist country defacto.
