After they have served their sentence and been released, of course they should. While they're still serving any part of their sentence...including community service or supervised probation...of course not.

Why shouldn't they have the right to vote is my question? I'm kind of back and forth on this issue, myself. Some felons are repeat offenders, sure. But others have committed one felony, and are trying to better their life. And yes, some felonies are very heinous.

rapists
and
murders
In fact, they're a minority of felons. The majority are in their for drug offenses. And some of them shouldn't even be in there in the first place. -
I support giving only felons and immigrants the right to vote. The rest of us haven’t done so well
