I find it odd that the bombs specifically targeted the two Christian enclaves in Shinto - Japan. Why did the US specifically drop them on the minority Christian population in Japan?

They where industrial port city and the third city, the one fat man was suppose to hit, was canceled due to bad weather. Pulse both bombs together killed less than the Tokyo fire bombings.

It was absolutely right It's saved over a million lives mostly Japanese. They were teaching 10 year old girls in school to grab the sharp stick by the door and stab the American Soldier.

Yes. Japan had AMPLE opportu*, and every reason, to surrender and end the suffering they were causing across the Pacific and East Asia. They didn't. The end of the war HAD to be decisive and overwhelm*. Japan is better now because of it. It was the right decision. Sad, but right.

Interesting how narratives shape our perception of what is justified to kill tens of thousands of innocent people. What if Nagasaki was the Christian center of Japan, and they had already surrendered?https://www.amazon.com/Atomic-Bomb-Secrets-David-Dionisi/dp/0991054865 …

As one who's father would have been storming the beaches, Yes. Honestly, President Truman would have probably dropped it on Germany too if it had been ready in time.
