"Collective ownership" is an oxymoron, and increasingly so the larger the number of "owners". It's the democratic dogma of "the majority knows best" on steroids.
The better question would be “why is capitalism rarely mentioned.”
Because you keep inventing new "Horrors of Communism" and we have hard evidence of actual evil Nazis have committed. And taking a step back, why downplay Nazis at all? What kind of agenda is that?
Communism killed millions , nazis socialism killed millions ... what’s the conclusion, forced collectivism kills. Recognizing individual sovereignty is the only system that has lifted people up. Capitalism allows individuals to rise from poverty.
