I have a solution. Redo the way we do higher education. Start testing students at an early age to help steer them into a right career. Only the very top students get help with tuition. Everyone else does two years of military and training for a career that fits them. Solved!

You are given a 6 month grace period after graduating in order to be able to find a job. I am graduating in May at 63. Could not have done it without student loans and financial aid, but now I will have to hope to God that I am able to find a job at my age.

I can already see a professor kiosk in the middle of a class room ala McDonald’s when the employees demanded $15.00 an hour. Ha!

Anything that’s “free” loses its value. Especially today where society knows the price of everything and the value of nothing. Adversity and challenges build character. Something that the majority of today’s youth are deprived of learning.
