How about getting rid of needless classes for degree programs? Why does someone need 30+ ELECTIVE credit hours to obtain a degree? Why do students need to take classes that are, in some cases, almost exactly what they learned in high school? And at the same tuition rate??

Did Warren complain about high tuition costs when she was teaching at a very expensive college?

The government has made an incentive for schools to raise prices. Why not? Guaranteed money from the fed. Your exactly right

A big issue is how many people really need a college degree to do anything? Most people get a college degree because there is a law somewhere saying that you must have one to get the job, not because the job cannot be learned another way.

If Dems look at cost of college tuition, they would notice it increased like crazy once govt gave loans/grants. Why? Because school make more money/ govt keeps on giving! But has the educational standards/amount of knowledge students have compared to the cost gone up equally?

Do you think gov. making it free will drop the price? If you believe that you are brainwashed. Letting the free market decide and making schools compete with each other will bring the price down. If Burger King charges $10 for a burger will it sell? No they will go 2 McDonalds
