Total and absolute lies. “Feminists” do not support or condone these acts. Stop trying to bully women into silence. If you don’t think we do enough then you are welcome do more. Dems have two Muslim house reps. How many does GOP have?

There was no implication that feminists support those acts via their perceived silence. The silence is an exaggeration here, I think the point is the relative quietness on oppression of women in Islam when compared to oppression of women in the west.

This simply isn't true, all feminist find these things to be atrocious. There is only so much we here in the states, from a distance, can do for women in the middle east, but there are brave feminist on the ground that are fighting the good fight, and we support them
