I think it's kind of evil to pretend this statement is factual and not an opinion, as well. Morality can have its roots in a non-religious ideology, and still objectively state that something is good or evil.

You kinda proved his point, when you said that his "opinion is evil". Yes, a different morality will rise without religion. Then the words "good" and "evil' will have a slight different meaning. Take Gulag and Auschwitz for example.

That is just your opinion, and a nonsense one. It doesn’t take a “god.” Good: help, protect, love Evil: hurt/kill, destroy, hate “god” is often used to “justify” evil.
