If God exists, murder sends people to heaven & murderers can be 100% forgiven. If God doesn't exist, this is our only time to be alive & murder robs us of that. "God says so" isn't a moral explanation. Theism = morality via blind authoritarianism Atheism = morality via reason

Modern human have existed for about 200,000 years...monotheism has existed for about 5,000 years at most. If we got our morality from god, our species would have murdered ourselves into extinction many tens of thousands of years ago.

If you have to be told by a third party, "Don't be a murderer," you're much more terrifying than a world without Judeo-Christian influence. And religion doesn't own morality, goodness, purpose, etc. It just wants to. Finally, read your Old Testament to find real terror.

When theists say that while atheists *can* be moral, we can’t have an objective foundation for morality without appealing to a god. I see it quite the opposite. While theists *can* be moral, how is it even possible to have an objective morality *by* appealing to a god?

Haven’t I been over this shit with you before. Morality and our feelings for each others pain comes from free will and empathy, not the MADE UP CONCEPT OD RELIGION AND GOD. God was made up as an answer to things our ancestors couldn’t explain

How exactly does empathy for other competitors survive during the "survival of the fittest"?

There are plenty of atheists who do NOT commit murder. Are you seriously trying to say that there is so little INHERENT MORALITY WITHIN YOUR OWN SELF that you would just be out there killing people were it not for the threat of eternal hellfire? Because that is pretty damning.

If one needs a "god" to be moral, then they are not truly a moral person.

I like Prageru videos but I really disagree with parts of this. Although I agree that there is loss to society in the decline of Judeo-Christian values, as a species we have evolved to have Moral Absolutes regardless of an existence of God.
