No scientist has ever or will ever claim to "tell the future". Scientists study trends over time periods then, extrapolate the data. The data is published and presented in language stating "if the current trend continues such and such may occur."

Unfortunately, climate scientist rely on grants for their income. They will come up with whatever conclusion the agency providing their grants want. The few who refuse, don’t receive any more grants.

No, that's incorrect; scientists and their work are peer reviewed. If a scientist fabricates data to satisfy an entity that hired them it will be quickly discovered. The scientific community will run their ass out on a rail. Remember Bush's people forced good science redacted?
