what this fails to mention is that slowly, over time the Democratic and Republican parties switched ideas. Democrats at the time of the Civil War mostly resided in the South. Yes, Democrats did all of those things, but that is in no way the modern Democratic party.

Yo I think people forget that Prager U is literally a page funded by republican pacs. I’m not saying whether or not this info is true. Just people need to be wise and look at where information comes from. For example sure the Democratic Party votes this way during reconstruction
