Should the elderly? You folks like framing questions without looking at the larger picture. An objection to 16 year olds is that they are easily swayed or idealistic. So? Teach them civic responsibility, Add it to the curriculum (again).

My objection is their brains aren’t fully developed. 18 is technically still to young as well but at least it’s better.
