This is my opinion obviously. Worth noting that a lot of people absolutely vital to western thinking were devout Christians, and did Christian writing as another discipline.. I.e. Newton Imo happy to learn something else if you have a different take on it

I'm not denying the role of Christianity in carrying forward Greek philosophy and reasoning into our modern age. But the (Biblical) Logos comes from the Greek word Logos directly long, after the Greeks already had already coined the phrase "logike tekhne" for "art of reasoning".
