this is fundamentally dishonest. first, ISPs do charge more for the amount of data used on both sides (both at the point of origination and wherever it ends up) what NN does is keep ISPs from selectively blocking traffic as its routed across the network.

...and this is necessary to keep the internet working. NN wasn't dreamed up by bureaucrats, it's been a principle of network engineering for decades. what would happen if comcast decided tomorrow to not allow twitter traffic? or if verizon bought netflix and banned hulu?

This video is mostly right except it neglects to mention the bad behavior of the ISP's. They are charging consumers for Internet access and also using their large numbers of consumers as leverage to extort fees from the networks their very own consumers are requesting data from.

#NetNeutrality
would not be necessary if ISP's behaved. Ironically, no NN regulation or legislation, CA's #SB822 included, actually closes this back door paid fast lane w/interconnection. They tend to be focused on the "last mile" that no ISP is abusing.

Microwave Ovens use the most electricity in the houses of USA. The electricity for the mw Oven is cloggin up the electric wires. Microwave oven makers should pay extra to the electric companny and a fast lane electric line should exist for supplying electricity to the mw ovens.
