Simply put. No. There is no time the death penalty is acceptable. There is never a time where we cannot take a person that has been committed for any crime today, and not protect society from them. Capital punishment and abortion are both immoral.

Considering the fact that some people have received the death penalty and then later been cleared of the crime the answer is ‘yes’. The death penalty is morally wrong.

Capital punishment is usually a punishment based on emotionally driven vengeance. I’d say capital punishment based on a criminal’s likihood of rehabilitation & their danger to others should be a prime factor. If they are incredibly dangerous to society then it makes good sense.
