  1. As a kid I walked a good ways to school, usually alone, usually carrying a big tenor sax, with lots of snow. (Mom would drive if < -20F) One day a lady stops her car and says “I see you walking every day and just want to let you know I’m proud of you” I still think of her.

Today's goal is to write a rounded polyline tesselator. I've done this 3 times before, I can do it again. But I remember how tricky those implementations were before. :-(

Programming languages without garbage collection send us down a long path of design decisions that lead to slow compile times and fragile runtime performance cliffs.

Man. People do seem to love explaining to me how programming works. Y’all. I got it. Professional programmer here. If our preferences on tooling don't 100% overlap that's ok. I don't need a lecture on why my preference is wrong. Repeat lecturers are getting muted.

Fun fact: military manufacturers destroyed the tooling needed to build these planes. The military orders a bunch, a bunch are built, then the tooling is destroyed and we can never make them again. What an industry.

The indie iOS dev community is the best. Everyone empowering and lifting each other up, more than any other industry I’ve seen.

I was all excited until I saw this was a tweet from yesterday... it’s probably been sunset by now.

Thinking on your colors got me on a 2+ hour tangent learning about types of color-blindness. There are many variations, so the only thing you can count on non-blind ppl discerning is black-vs-white. So listen to when he says to not use color alone to convey meaning.

User of iCircuit on Mac kept getting a crash. After back and forth they discover a stackless NullReferenceException. 😩 So, enable ... it is time. Wish me luck. Send help if you don't hear from me. (Also, please think about supporting Xamarin.Mac errors!)

From what I can tell the planes still enter and exit the ramp under this bridge. So that means we should be able to sit on it and watch planes from above. So excited to do this.

That's why they call it no code "Your app can't be directly migrated to another platform, but AppSheet, Apps Script, Google Forms, and App Engine offer many similar features"

I've released the Universal Unreal Engine 4 Unlocker v3.0: WPF/C# client, communicates with in-game process DLL written in C++/x64 assembler over 2 named pipes. In-game photomode, hotsampling and in-game console for tweaking for over 140 games :)

I now have a line counter in Golang and a line counter in .NET Core. Both are faster than `wc -l` and the .NET Core one is slightly faster on my machine than the Go version. It's been a couple years since I last used VS Code to dev C#; command line tooling is nicer than ever.
