Heck, if an amateur like me can take a stab at this problem (I think https://arxiv.org/abs/1811.03116 gets around a number of objections people have had to information destroying theories), then the game is still wide open and we ought not to prejudge it's outcome. 7/7

@skdh's critique of modern physics, and it's true that without experimental data, reconciling quantum theory with gravity is exceedingly difficult.
