Sometimes you see a question and ask yourself how could you have not asked it youself before. “If gases have large distances between molecules, why don’t air molecules just fall down to earth” was the question that provoked this tweet.
Of course, the answer is obvious, once you think about it even a bit. Is there a collection of such “why sky is blue” questions (i.e. very simple questions, not necessarily with simple/obvious answers)? Just for physics for starters, but from all areas ideally.
ELI5 is kind of similar to that, but not exactly. But maybe there is a curated list of such questions which appeared in r/ELI5?
