I did work with bazel. It's close to really good, but I am dreaming a better functional API to programming the model. It is basically a great Applicative build system with a nice query engine and remote execution, but a moderately bad programming API.

I don't know much but the front page does not mention reproducibility, correctness or caching, so I'm -1. That's the name of the game. Usability is after correctness. We will look back on these broken build tool dark ages like the days before version control, CI, tests...
