Though, I remember reading research showing that property values *increase* when bike routes go in. Perhaps the landlords are jacking up all the business rents in anticipation? ;)
I've been informed that the rug shop has been "closing" for years. But, local news reports businesses along King St are complaining about drop in customers. Again, my point is that curtailing of car traffic in Toronto quickly descends into politics in Toronto.
