I went to school in Edmonton. I would be illiterate if school had been cancelled when it snowed.

Not once during my education in Calgary was there a snow day. I didn't even know the term until I moved to Toronto.

I grew up in Thompson, 750 kms north of Winnipeg. Zero snow days through 13 years of public school. Zero.

Canceled at least once (Whitney PS) and, yes - you have become a crank, welcome to the club.

They didn’t happen. We’re about the same age and I had my first full snow day last week.

I grew up outside Collingwood. School buses would be cancelled if you could not see across the street. One storm hit when my sister and I were at home but my parents were in town. They couldn't get home for two or three days. Usually, blowing snow was the big problem.
