It has gone well. My kids have seen the ugly side of opioid addiction and neither wants to go near that. We have talked frankly about the risks and the attractions of pot, and why I don't think either of them should explore it as teenagers. It isn't forbidden, just not wise.
Are you a parent of a teenager? Have you been talking to him/her about marijuana, given it will be legal tomorrow? How has that conversation gone?

We ‘ve been talking about it. He’s just turned eighteen and so is still too young to buy it. Nothing has changed for him. It’s still illegal for him to use it.
