I confirm, after upgrading windows two new partitions have been added at the end of the disk corrupting my ubuntu installation...
Seen multiple reports that the Windows 10 Anniversary Update deletes other partitions (containing Linux installs) without asking. :S

The update left without being able to boot Windows OR Xubuntu. Is there anything I can do to fix this??

There are reports that the Anniversary update breaks Cortana. I can confirm the update has disabled Cortana on my laptop.

I hope you regularly make backups of your work, even when there's no shaky Windows update in view. :)
