Twitter had it exactly backward when they changed the platform so it wouldn't cost you characters to reply to multiple people. It should cost you MONEY to reply to multiple people.

The unvaccinated are the only people who should be freaking out right now about today's C.D.C. report on Delta variant. Yes, the unvaccinated among you should be very, very concerned.

Yes, I closed replies on this, here’s why and why I wish more people would at least think about it, esp in journalism & people with large follower counts.

One issue now is needing to communicate: You can get COVID from Delta even if you’re vaccinated BUT it reduces your chances and protects you from hospitalization/death BUT you can still spread the virus. People being people, they don’t want to read past one BUT let alone two

To Adam's point: I'm for loosening rules to protect individual right to expression. I'm unlikely to ever march - I cover the things I'm passionate about. If I'm at a protest, I've got a notebook. But should my friend the music reviewer be banned from marching? I don't think so

I want someone to collect every tweet we did about Bob Odenkirk today and present it to him in a bound volume.

There are a lot of performers who are admired and respected the way Bob Odenkirk is. There are only so many who are liked and adored the way he is. Hope he recovers and sees the outpouring he's inspired.

Anyway, I've seen thru tonight's also excellent episode, and hoping season 2 finishes on a really strong back half like season 1 did.

It's a small thing, but makes a big difference, how the episode has you see each character send a text and then the other later read it: TV mostly likes to use texts like a form of telepathy where people share thoughts instantly rather than see them at different times/contexts

Late to this, but the 'Somebody Date Me' episode of 'Dave' was remarkable. It's been a while since I've seen a show do anything interesting with text/app communication, and there's something 'High Maintenance'-y about the interconnected storylines.
