i might be okay with this if they can be true to the feel rather than the word like magicians as a show is a shitty direct port of the novels' text but an amazing port of the concept of the novels i'm Tentative™

ironically the characters being arguably Bad People is what made the comic Good for instance, the lack of diversity was important to the story (not to spoil anything)

a big problem with the movie is that it didn’t end up doing this. i think it’s all the better if you want a filmed version of Watchmen that stays true to nearly every detail, you already have it
