If the cyclists used the cycle path instead of being on the road, there would be no warnings issued to drivers.

Alternatively if drivers gave sufficient space to anyone on a bike using a road (which they have every right to) then again there would be no need for us to stop them

CLose passes to a cyclist is a total joke charge most of them are near enough the middle of the road no other way to get round them. Maybe you should concentrate on cyclists who don’t obey the laws of the road in regard to running red lights would have a field day then
-
I can assure you it isn't a joke. Imagine the alternative, you fail to give someone on a bike space & they change road position due to a drain or debris and you hit them. It's simply about having the human decency to respect others, especially those who are considered vulnerable.

As a pedestrian that walks through the park every day, twice a day, I really appreciate this! Also, this video really helped me understand cyclists’ perspective:https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/video/2019/may/09/do-cyclists-think-theyre-above-the-law-and-does-it-even-matter-video …

There’s a cycle path literally feet away. I don’t understand why they use the road going around there
-
Because they want to and have every right to.
